Update your dive skills and knowledge with a quick scuba refresher from the PADI Open Water Diver Course before jumping back into the water.
Haven’t been diving lately and want a quick scuba refresher? The PADI ReActivate program is the perfect way to update your dive knowledge and review basic scuba skills. Whether you just need a few reminders or want a more comprehensive review, this program provides an engaging, prescriptive refresher of scuba principles and procedures.
A PADI Refresher Course goes over basics: buoyancy control, alternate air source, regulator recovery and clearing your mask. You will be asked to complete a quiz on arrival for general dive theory.
PADI Reactivate Course goes over all the skills you learned in the PADI Open Water Course in a confined water setting. You will be asked to complete a quiz on arrival for general dive theory and we will also help you answer any questions you have from your eLearning.
We can have up to two people booked on for a Refresher and one person booked on for a Reactivate.
Both of these courses will allow you to ask any questions you have so you will finish feeling confident to begin diving again.
The 20 primary sections of ReActivate eLearning include situations that will aid in your integrated recollection and application of the knowledge you already have and wish to review. Following the completion of multiple questions, you will either go on to the following section or examine more background material for greater depth. It’s fascinating and intuitive.
Section subjects include, for instance:
- preparing for dives on a boat, diving with computers, dealing with aquatic life issues
- health and fitness when diving
You will be required to complete the ReActivate Quick Review in order to finish your knowledge refresher. Along with studies of RDP and enriched air diving, ReActivate eLearning also provides a video dive skills review.
To take part in the refresher on restricted water abilities, you’ll need some basic diving equipment. You could also go on an open-water dive with a PADI Professional, who will also go through any extra equipment you might want, such as a wet suit or dry suit for the specific diving conditions in the area.
For additional information on the equipment you’ll need to continue your diving experiences, contact your neighbourhood PADI Dive Center or Resort.
ReActivate eLearning registration is open now. Using a web-based approach, you may progress through the parts and situations at your own leisure.
Visit your neighbourhood dive shop to book ReActivate’s in water part. Remember that ReActivate is a wonderful approach to getting ready for your upcoming PADI course or a diving vacation.
